True background replacement works best with a plain green or blue cloth/wall behind the teacher. Without green/blue background, use the light/effect presets to improve the teacher’s face and overall look.

Best balance: use two microphones, or place one microphone exactly between the two speakers. The studio now mixes microphones into one safe track and applies stronger voice-level balancing.

For reliable recording, upload a short MP3/WAV voice tag saying “JM e-Stories, love it!”. If no file is uploaded, the browser voice preview can speak it, but it may only enter the final video through the microphone.

For live mode, use → and ← to move between subtitle lines while speaking. This prevents overlap because you control the changes yourself.

Subtitle Timing Assistant

Use this tool to rehearse once and create exact timestamped subtitles. Click Start timing rehearsal, speak naturally, and press Mark next subtitle every time you move to the next subtitle line. When finished, click Apply timed subtitles. This prevents overlap and keeps subtitles on screen long enough.

If you choose Manual timestamps mode, use this same box with lines like: [00:00-00:03.20] Bonjour. (Hello.)

TV bilingual display: write Bonjour. (Hello.) on one line, or put (Hello.) on the next line. The French stays in the lower subtitle bar; the English in brackets appears only above in the teaching/image panel, using the same timing chunk.

For combined diagrams like body parts, use Persistent image. The uploaded image appears immediately and stays on the TV screen until the recording ends. Mapping is only needed when you want images to change by subtitle chunk.
